School Uniform 

At Dunston Primary and Nursery Academy we expect all our children to wear school uniform, which consists of:

• Burgundy jumper or cardigan (plain or with the school logo)
• Burgundy or white polo shirt (plain or with the school logo)
• Grey trousers, skirt, dress or shorts

For PE lessons, we also expect our children to wear the appropriate PE kit which consists of:

• Plain black shorts, leggings or jogging bottoms
• White t-shirt (plain or with the school logo) 
• Black indoor PE pumps
• Suitable outdoor trainers

FREE PE KITS

As of September 2025, the school will be providing a full PE kit, ensuring consistency for all and developing the team Dunston ethos. The kit will be consisting of:

Burgundy t-shirt

Navy blue hooded sweatshirt

Navy blue joggers/navy blue track pants

If you wish to buy additional PE kit, such as shorts, you are welcome to. Please ensure the items you purchase are unbranded and in keeping with the burgundy (t-shirt) / navy blue colour theme.
