How to Apply for a School Place

If your child was born between 1 September 2020 and 31 August 2021 your child will be eligible to start school in September 2025.

School places are applied for online via the Derbyshire County Council School Admissions Service web page.

Information is distributed by primary schools.

DCC must have received your preferences by this date.

It doesn't matter how early you apply as long as you apply by the closing date.

If you have applied online Derbyshire County Council will email your offer on this date.

If you don't have an email address, they will post your offer letter, second class, on this date.
