Useful information

PE will be on a Thursday. Children are asked to attend in their PE kit. Please ensure footwear and clothing is suitable for indoor and outdoor PE.

Our library day is to be confirmed.

Children will visit the school library trolley once a week.

Our learning this term

This term our topic is 'Wellies and Wheelbarrows.' Within this topic we will be looking at minibeasts, life cycles and growing. The children will be given opportunities to look at and observe the life cycles of animals such as frogs and butterflies as well as planting seeds and watching them grow.

In phonics this term we will be continuing to learn Phase 3 phonics.

In our maths this term we will be looking at consolidating key skills such as 'subitising' 'counting on and back to 10' 'composition of numbers to 10' 'sorting and matching' and 'comparing and ordering quantities and measures.' We will also be learning to 'build numbers beyond 10' 'continue patterns beyond 10' 'spatial reasoning' 'adding more' and 'taking away.'
