Our learning this term:
In Y5&6 we are going on a journey to the continent of North America! Our focus is Geography this half term, and we will be learning about both the physical and human geography of this region.
In RE we move our focus to the expression of faith through Art and Architecture, and through Science, we will be learning about the human circulatory system, and how this can be affected by what we consume.
In English, we are going to use the book ‘Fourteen Wolves’ as our inspiration, and we will be writing both newspaper articles and diary entries developed from themes in this wonderful book.
In Maths, Y5 will focus on multiplication and division before moving on, later in the half term, to apply these skills to develop our fraction knowledge further. Y6 will begin with Ratios, then move onto Algebra and then Decimals. A busy half term!
For Crich, we will swap back to PE in school: so wear your PE kits on Thursday Crich!
